As part of our 40th birthday celebrations, we’re inviting you to get creative in our Big 4-0 Art Show! This is your chance to let your creativity shine and submit your art to be a part of our show and enter into our arty competition.
The theme for the show is ‘What does disability mean to you?’. We want to see what disability means to you – through any art medium you choose. Whether you paint, draw, sculpt, knit, sew, write or create digitally, this competition is open to everyone, no matter your skill level. It’s all about expressing yourself and having fun!
On Thursday 23rd October, we’ll be hosting a special celebration event where your artwork will be showcased. Everyone who takes part will be invited, and we’ll be awarding some fantastic prizes – £400 for the winner, plus £40 for second and third place! Some special guests will also join us to celebrate your creativity and DIAL’s milestone year, and refreshments will be provided.
Just submit your entries to us by Tuesday 30th September! For digital entries, you can email Nicola at nicola.walker@dialbarnsley.org.uk. For physical entries, you can either post or pop by our office at McLintocks Building, Summer Lane, Barnsley, S70 2NZ.
